Boating course to be held in N. Brookfield

NORTH BROOKFIELD - A free Boating Basics Course will be offered by the North Brookfield Police Department and the Massachusetts
Environmental Police from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25 and May 2 at North Brookfield High School. Both classes are required to receive a certificate, and bring a lunch.

The instructors for this accredited course (which qualifies for insurance reduction) will be North Brookfield Police Sgt. Douglas Blood and Environmental Police Sgt. Merry Walker.

The class is open to the public. Students must be at least 12 years old. Parents are encouraged to attend with youngsters; taking the class as a family is encouraged.
