Witness Domestic Violence? WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
If your daughter told you she was being abused?
If a fellow family member was having trouble caring for your elderly parent?
If your teenage son told you he saw his
best friend hitting his girlfriend?
If you knew the disabled person next door was suffering neglect at the hands of their caretaker?
If your student discloses that there is
abuse in his family and he is afraid for his siblings?
If you were asked by a friend for help leaving an abusive partner?
IT'S HARD TO ESCAPE FROM DOMESTIC ABUSE...
...and it's hard to know how to help others whether they decide to stay or leave. What can you do as a bystander for your friend, neighbor or loved one? The abused AND the community are affected through the use of police, school and other resources. Learn some tools to help you answer the above questions, share your ideas and suggestions.
Whether you know someone that is being abused or not, the Warren Domestic Violence Task Force invites you as a caring community member to join them for a night of Pizza, discussion and role playing.
