North Brookfield Board of Health officials here today announced plans for a large-scale H1N1 (swine) flu vaccination clinic for all North Brookfield residents. The clinic will take place on January 14, 2010 between the hours of 3 PM to 7 PM at the North Brookfield Elementary School Cafeteria. Children 10 and under who received their first dose of the vaccine at the December 17th clinic are now eligible for the recommended second dose of vaccine. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent. In recognition of the increased availability of vaccine from the federal government, this clinic will provide vaccination to all members of the general public, not just those in priority groups.
All vaccines will be provided at the upcoming clinic free of charge to all North Brookfield residents on a first-come, first-serve basis. Residents are asked to bring their health insurance cards, although insurance is not required to get vaccinated at the clinic.
