·        Saturday, April 24  EDIBLE CONTAINER GARDENS: Designing Perennial Herb Containers with Landscape Designer Louis Garwood, from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Haston Library. Celebrate Spring by planting a low-maintenance container herb garden. Growing fragrant, beautiful and delicious herbs is a fun and tasty way to enhance the growing season in a small space. Learn about  potting soils, plant selection, and design. Plant and take home an herb container garden. This illustrated presentation and hands-on workshop is part of the “Read! Grow! Eat!” series.
