·        Tuesday, April 27  EDIBLE CONTAINER GARDENS: Designing Perennial Herb Containers with Landscape Designer Louis Garwood, from 12:30-1:30 pm at the Senior Center. Celebrate Spring by planting a low-maintenance container herb garden. Growing fragrant, beautiful and delicious herbs is a fun and tasty way to enhance the growing season in a small space. Learn about  potting soils, plant selection, and design.  Plant and take home an herb container garden. This illustrated presentation and hands-on workshop is part of the Haston Library’s “Read! Grow! Eat!” series. There is no fee for the workshop and all materials are provided free of charge.
